  1. Some basic style tips for writing critical analysis

  2. Refer to characters as characters, not people. • Use PRESENT TENSE. • Never use the second person pronoun (you). • Do not use quotation marks unless quoting text. Use the word you really mean, not the word you are using to mean something else.
