I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. We are sensing a Urgent Command to be EXTREME!!!!!

  3. Lifting People through the Power of the Cross! Today, I want to Set the Agenda for the Next several Months ~ give you an understanding of what the Lord has really placed upon my heart for us as a Family of God in these days of Shaking!

  4. I AM Asking God to set Our Hearts on Fire with His Love for People and Our World. • What was the Apostle’s great motivation???

  5. Text: Romans 1:14-17 NLT • 14 For I havea great sense of obligation to people in our culture and to the people in our cultures, to the educated and the uneducated alike. 15 So I am eager to come to you in Rome, too, to preach God’s Good News. 16 For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ.

  6. Romans 1:16b-17 NLT It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—Jews first and also Gentiles. 17 This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”

  7. Three “Great I Am” of this passage! Paul’s motivation, that still drives us!!!! • I am Obligated vs. 14 • I am Ready (Eager) vs. 15 • I am Confident (not ashamed) vs. 16

  8. I am Obligated! Vs. 14 I am obligated both to the Greeks and the non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish. • Mankind’s lostness is the One Over-riding Urgency for the Human race! • Discovering Forgiveness I must Share it!!!

  9. I am Obligated! Vs. 14 C. No one falls outside His love through us? D. Just sensing Obligation isn’t enough! Passion is what God wants to put into Your Heart!!! E. Has Christ captured your heart?

  10. II. I am Ready! Vs. 15 • Paul said, "I am eager to preach the gospel to you who are at Rome." • It wasn't a duty. It is a Passion! B. What makes this Good News such Good News??? Vv. 2-6 (NUT SHELL!) C. Ready for Divine encounters…

  11. Am I Ready???? (Seven practical steps!) • Develop a simple plan ~ One scripture Gospel Romans 6:23 • Most powerful Gospel is your testimony. • Caring and offering to pray opens the door!!! • Ask God to open your eyes!!! 5. Set a goal!!!! (Friend, talking to at least one person a day!) 6. Have an ongoing prayer list, of people who need Jesus!!! 7. Invite people to come with you!!!!

  12. III. I am not Ashamed! Vs. 16 • I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes; first to the Jew, then for the Gentile. 17 For in the Gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

  13. I am Not Ashamed… • "I am not ashamed." Paul's talking about his confidence. • Here’s the defining Question and Challenge of this passage today!

  14. I am Not Ashamed … Three Reasons Paul wasn’t Ashamed that we need to Revisit!!! • The Gospel contains the power (dynamic) of God for salvation. • It’s for everyone’s need 3. God gives righteousness (A God kind of Righteousness) only through Christ….

  15. Conclusion:  Lifting People through the Power of the Cross! • I often wonder, What my life would be like, how different my life might be, if not for that little Light House Church, and that faithful community of believers hadn’t been there?

  16. I am not Ashamed… 1. Clarify your relationship to Christ. Paul says, "I'm a servant of Christ." Are you? 2. Understand the Gospel. God comes and works in our lives by grace. That's the gospel. And it's for everybody. 3. Recognize the importance of that God has placed on you sharing Him.
