A-G Requirements (College Admission Requirements) • History (A) - 2 years • English (B)- 4 years of college preparatory English​ • Math (C) – 3 years (4 recommended)​ • Lab Science (D) - 2 years (3 recommended)​ • Foreign Language (E) - 2 years (3 recommended)​ • Visual or Performing Art (F) - 1 year​ • College Preparatory Elective (G) - 1 year *Students must earn grade C or higher in these courses

  10. College and Financial Aid What is financial aid?  Financial aid is money that can help you pay for college. Some aid needs to be paid back or earned, and some aid is a gift. This money is available to all kinds of people. How do I get financial aid? • Fill out the Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADA) before March 2nd of your senior year

Tips for social emotional success in high school Social Emotional Success: • Practice good self care • Getting enough sleep (teenagers need 8-10 hours of sleep per night according to the National Sleep Foundation) • Build in down time (listening to music, face to face communication with friends, getting outside, and exercise) • Maintain a healthy diet • Ask for help! • My school nurse is: Letty Gonzalez • My school social worker is: Mayra Gonzalez • My Counselor/Counselor of the day • A trusted adult • Suicide Prevention Hotline: 1-800-724-7240
