Purpose and Structure of the Summit: • Held at IMEX for past three years • Exclusively for AIPC members • Creates a forum and strategic session for sales and marketing issues • Guided by Steering Committee, member surveys • Combines research, workshops, guest presenters, client input and training

  3. It Has Achieved… • High ratings from participants • Increasing attendance each year • Has attracted a wide range of sales / marketing executives • Participation by many different senior level industry and client representatives • Largely self-sustaining through participant fees and sponsorship

  4. This Year’s Content: • Quality Standards • Yield Management • Marketing alliances • Dealing with an economic downturn • Use of the Internet • Pharma code application and sales implications

  5. The 2009 Summit: • Our fourth Summit • To be held in conjunction with IMEX 2009 • Will again address top S&M priorities • Content to be based on post–event feedback and pre-event issue surveys • Will continue the dialogue with key client groups

  6. The Facility Operations Summit: • New for 2008; based on success of Sales and Marketing Summits • To be held in conjunction with EIBTM • Will focus on facility operations and event management issues • Brings together a group that seldom have the opportunity to interact • Content determined by surveys, steering group • Details announced in August
