  4. We think of young girls who experience oppression because of their gender, Help us to seek justice. We think of girls, who experience exclusion from education, healthcare and freedom, Help us to seek justice. International Day of the Girl Child

  5. We pray for the safety and security of girls, Your Kingdom come. We pray that the powerful would be confronted, Your Kingdom come. International Day of the Girl Child

  6. We pray against harmful cultural practices Your Kingdom come. We pray that each young person would know their value and worth, Your Kingdom come. International Day of the Girl Child

  7. Heavenly Father, we long for the day when girls no longer experience fear. We long for the day when boys and girls have equal opportunities. We long for the day when your Kingdom is fulfilled and justice is restored. Amen. International Day of the Girl Child
