  2. Eastlake’s Goals for SATA Our Goal is to prepare a generation of critical thinkers who are able to use computing to develop solutions to complex problems.

  3. Why computer science? The number of job openings projected in 2018 for computer specialists will reach 1.4 million!

  4. SATA Requirements • Complete five or more courses in CS • Enroll in at least two P/AP credit courses in math and science each year • Participate in a minimum of two UIL or TSA competitions • Complete a senior year project. • Recommended Language: Chinese

  5. SATA Requirements for Stole • Maintain grades at 80 or above • 150 Community Service hours • Complete all SATA requirements.

  6. Freshmen: Computer Science and Software Engineering - PLTW Develop Programming Expertise Projects Include: Game Development App Development Visualization of Data Cyber Security Simulation HTML/CSS, PHP for Website Design
