  2. Luksasi Coxofemoralis • Persendiancoxofemoralmerupakanpersendian yang berbentukbungkuldanmangkuk yang terbentukdari caput femur denganacetabulum. • Luksasicoxofemoral= Lepasnya caput femur dari acetabulum • Terjadi secara degeneratifatauadaptif.

  4. Indikasi • Mengembalikan posisi caput femur ke dalam acetabulum untuk membantu hewan yang mengalami luksasi coxofemoralis dapat beraktifitas seperti semula.

  5. Anestesi • Anestesi Umum • Anestesi umum intramuscular • Jenis obat yang digunakan untuk anestesi adalah Ketamine ( Ketamine Hydrochlorida ) di kombinasikan dengan premedikasi yang melemaskan otot.

Pembedahan • Insisikulit • M. tensor fascia latadikuakkankearah cranial, V. circumflexafemoralisterlihat. • M. vastuslateralisdikuakkankearah distal sehingga joint capsule terlihat. • Joint capsule disayatuntukmelihat caput femurisdansebagianleher femur. • Ostectomyleher femur • Setelah tulang coxofemoral telah kembali ke posisi normal kulit kembali di jahit dengan pola jahitan menerus.

  11. Retensi • Pada langkah ini dapat dilakukan fiksasi atau pemasangan kain untuk mempertahankan posisi persendian disekitar os coxae, os sacrum dan os femur.

  12. Rehabilitasi • Kontrol pertumbuhan • Berikan pola exercise yang benar • Berikan obat-obat suplemen • Berikan vit C dan obat-obat anti radang non steroid. • Istirahat.
