Advanced CALLISTO Focal Plane Unit for Radio Spectrometry with Calibration and Control Features

The CALLISTO Focal Plane Unit (FPU) for radiospectrometry enables precise frequency analysis from 50 MHz to 850 MHz. It features an optional calibration unit, low noise preamplifier, and efficient impedance matching (50Ω/75Ω). The system includes a synthesizer tuner, I2C-bus down converter (37.5 MHz to 10.7 MHz), and a logarithmic detector. With PC control integration, low-pass filtering, and data acquisition capabilities, this unit provides comprehensive signal path and control data links, ensuring high-frequency resolution at 62.5 KHz and bandwidth of 280 KHz for optimal performance.
