  2. Math 10 Options AWM 10 FMP 10 AWM 10 is not ‘easy math’, but it does move at a slower pace and your teacher will review basic skills that you might not remember from Math 8 & 9. FMP 10 is not much ‘harder’ than AWM 10, but it does move at a faster pace. FMP 10 will focus on more theoretical mathematics to prepare you for future classes that require higher level mathematics. AWM 10 will focus on the more practical aspects of math: measurement, unit conversions, etc. Both courses require good work habits and strong effort!

  3. Math 11 Options Foundations 11 Pre-Calculus 11 Designed for students who plan to attend university or college arts programs (will not be taking math or science courses requiring calculus) Designed for students who plan to attend university or college, and who will be taking courses that require calculus. Covers some theoretical math as well as statistical analysis & financial math. Focused almost entirely on theoretical mathematics. Some college programs accept Pre-Calculus 11 or Foundations 12 as “equal” prerequisites.
