  1. 2007 Global COE Program in information, electrical & electronic sciences2008 Research Assistant recruitment Global COE program, “High-Level Global Cooperation for Leading -Edge Platform on Access Spaces”, will recruit the Research Assistant from the students in doctor’s course. Application 1. Students in the 1st , 2nd, 3rd year grade in doctor’s course (As for 3rd year grade students, applicants should pass through the doctor’s course in September 2009.) 2. Students/Persons who will enter the doctor’s course in Apr., 2009 (As for students/persons in #2, GCOE will recruit again in Jan. 2009.) Qualifications : * Students who can study the research theme which is consistent with COE program. (The persons who are receiving scholarship award etc. can not get the allowance from COE. But please apply for Research Assistant because you will have the same qualifications as salary recipients such as internship, application of a double supervisor system, international cooperation incl. subsidy for the presentation in international conferences. ) The number of 1 : a few persons Recruitment: 2 : approx. 10-20 persons Period : 1 : December 1, 2008 – March 31 , 2009 2 : April 1, 2009 – March 31, 2010 Allowance : JPY151,200 – JPY194,400 per month according to the performance of study Activities : * Global COE program is the institute collaborating with several research field. Research Assistant can broaden your perspective as a doctor through the activities, establish your network in the future and implement an aggressive work. * Research Assistant has to make an effort of your study and report the achievement at the end of 2008. (Submit of the report, presentation in a workshop in overseas.) * You must participate in CTE research program, science and technology seminar in COE courses which is set in the Graduate School. You are obliged to join and operate the research/education program in order to master a double major in a broad leading-edge platform on access spaces. * You can get a chance of internship (3-12 months) to the core partners, collaborators in overseas. Examination : Screening of the application form and the interview. * You will receive the application form from Ms. Izuta by e-mail (y.izuta@educ.cc.keio.ac.jp) or GCOE Homepage (http://www.gcoee.keio.ac.jp). * Submission period :October 9 – 14, 2:00pm (Office closed on Oct. 10 due to Symposium) * Please bring the form directly to Ms. Izuta of Global COE program Extension # 41036 in Room 14-520 * Interview will be held in the morning of October 15 (Will inform you the place and the time accordingly.
