Rainfall (Thursday - Pegram) Recommendations Trend and stationarity analysis of the South African rainfall dataset should continue Concern was expressed about the loss of skill, knowledge of methodology and custodianship of the hydrological data which was in the CCWR repository. These need to find their proper home - DWAF, SAWS etc Encumbent upon those doing applied research to ensure that it is applied - obligation for researchers to form partnerships and get out and sell the ideas after identifying problem areas and needs for their solutions.
