One shows a remarkable and fast increase in the power of international cooperation while the other shows the danger of globalization and the shortcomings of international organizations in global health. In today’s world, diseases spread quickly across international borders. Information can spread even faster. Discuss the positive and negative impacts of globalization on global health. Do you see a difference in the way the international community approaches various diseases or epidemics? Why do you think this is? Go Further Check out the NPR series on eradicating polio.
