  12. Ebert.. • Ebert left Berlin and then went to Dresden and recalled the government – remember he cant get the help of Freikorps this time! • Calls a general strike with the help of ordinary people to weaken Kapp and his supporters • Kapp has support of General Ludendorff

  26. Death Again… • Foreign minister, Walter Rathenau was killed • He wanted Germany to keep on the good side of the allies by abiding by the terms of the Treaty of Versailles • Also he signed the Treaty of Rapallo – a treaty which meant Germany and Russia could work together
