Mrs. Monacelli`s Class Week of January 27th • What we did this week: • We continued to explore the Ocean and thecreatures that live there: • This week we talked about s Jellyfish, coral reef and other types of fish • We made jellyfish, fish out of CD, and Rainbow fish • We learned about Groundhogs Day, I asked the children to check to see if the groundhog saw its shadow or not and then to let me know on Monday: Groundhogs Day is this Sunday • We played a sorting color game in gym-they were really wore out after this game • Reminders/ • Important Class Info • We are attending the Schauer Arts and Activity Center on Thursday-you do not need to send your childs backpack that day Children in PALS should bring backpacks as normal. • Check out updated items needed for class on website and check out the home fun activities! • We are in need of small 3 oz cups for snack as well as Gallon water jug-not the refrigerator size jugs • Star of the week this coming week: Shayla Books We Read: Jellyfish There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Shell Geoffrey Groundhog Predicts The Weather Surprising Sharks Next Weeks Theme: Penguins
