While shopping, I found a game priced at $59.99. After learning it was 15% off and had an additional 13% sales tax, I needed to calculate the total cost. First, I calculated the discount: $59.99 x 0.15 = $9. I subtracted this from the original price, resulting in $50.00. Then, I calculated the 13% tax on $50.00, which is $6.50. Finally, I added the tax to the discounted price: $50.00 + $6.50 = $56.50. Thus, the total amount to pay for the game is $56.50.

question • I was walking around town and I see this cool game on display for $59.99 so I went in the store and grabbed it and went to the cashier. • The cashier said the game was 15% off and it included 13% tax with it to pay so how much do I need to pay all together?
Step 1 • You must find out the new price from the 15% so you will need to do… • $59.99x0.15=8.9985($9 rounded)
Step 2 • Then you subtract the 15% from $59.99 so… • $59.99 – 9= $50.00
Step 3 • After that you have to find the 13% tax so….. • 50 x 0.13=$6.50
Step 4 • Then finally you add the 13% from $50.00 so.. • 50 + 6.50= $56.50 • There you go the final price is $56.50
answer • So I have to pay $56.50 in total for the game
