  2. What they were trying to do.. • They built ONE of the most advanced gaming system in the world. • With one failure…

  3. Why did it Fail? • After the initial release in November 2005, Microsoft admitted that some systems may have overheating problems related to the power supply and said those customers with those systems would receive a replacement…

  4. Corrective actions.. • Now Microsoft says it will spend more than $1 billion to repair crashed Xboxes, and make sure the general hardware failures concerning the game system are less frequent.

  5. Summary • The final action taken was Microsoft released the air fans for the system, so that it will not over heat.
