So Far This Year • MDH has 233 certified lead firms • 187 Contractors • 46 Consultants • Of the 187 contractors, 39 have notified MDH. • Of the 39, 27 have been inspected.
Improved Numbers? • MDH has established an inspection protocol • 10% overall inspection rate • 10% individual inspection rate for designated contractors • Visit all contractors who notify at least once. • What this means: • Contractors will see MDH more and on a regular basis • MDH may appear in the middle of nowhere!

Individual Licensing (cont’d) • Individuals do NOT have: • Thirty days to work before they submit an application • Thirty days to work from the day they submit the application • Thirty days to work before they take a relicensing class • “I took the course, but forgot my diploma” will also be verified
