New Technology Turning Point 2008 (Interactive Powerpoint Software)
Assessment • Is a fad that will go away soon. • Is primarily an AACSB and SACS requirement. • Is the process of documenting, usually in measurable terms, knowledge, skills, attitudes and beliefs.
Course-embeddedAssessment • Will take too much time out of my class. • Is a lot of extra work. • Is one means of gathering data.
Assessment • Must be accomplished in every class every semester. • Must be accomplished for every learning objective every semester. • Can be scheduled over a cycle and can use sampling.
