  2. Why Join Swim Team? • Swimming works every single muscle in your body, and is very beneficial to your health. It’s a great and fun way to stay in shape.  • Most people on the swim team seem very nice and welcoming to me. The coaches are great at their job, and also very nice. • If you enjoy swimming, it’s pretty much a no brainer.

  3. What Swim Team is All About • I suppose the purpose of swim team is just to swim competitively. However to me, my purpose in swim is just to enjoy swimming and get in better physical and maybe mental shape.

  4. How to Join Swim Team • You can join swim at the beginning of the year just by signing up with your counselor or through your class agenda. • Coach Cliffton, who teaches sophomore history, is the swim coach and can be found in B hall. • It is free to join, but soon enough you must pay for a professional swim suit.

  5. Membership Requirements • You must attend school 90% of the time. • At 7th hour, the swimmers are driven to OCCC pool to swim for two hours, then returning to the school to go home. OR, you can drive yourself. • You must be passing. • Must have the right swimsuit, one piece for girls, shorts for boys, and have your own goggles.

  7. Miscellaneous Information • There are fundraises and sponsorships available to the swimmers if they would like help to pay for their equipment. • Starting November many swim meets are begun.
