  3. Dance Dancing is one of my favorite things to do. I’ve danced since I was three years old, and I don’t plan to stop anytime soon. This picture is Suzanne Farrell, who danced with the New York City Ballet. She was a favorite of George Balanchine, who is in this picture with her. This is the ballet Don Quixote, which Balanchine made for her.

  5. Desiree This is my cat, Desiree. She's been a part of my family since I was in third grade--she's now fifteen years old! She’s also extremely weird, and always finds new places to sleep, like in the dryer or on my bag on the couch. One of her favorite places is behind the space heater, but I’m always afraid she’s going to burn her paws when she tucks them under it!

  6. Reading

  7. Reading I love to read! I would read all the time, if I didn’t have homework that gets in the way. I just finished Peeps, by Scott Westerfeld. It’s a story about vampires, but it’s kind of a new take on the idea, and more science-fiction based than fantasy or horror. I’ve already put a hold on the sequel, The Last Days, at the library. I hope it comes in soon!

  9. My Friends This picture is me with my three closest friends, Beka, Becky, and Jen. We like to make fun of Jen because her name isn’t like ours, but we love her anyway. We get together every Tuesday night to watch Law & Order: SVU on TV. I love my friends!
