  9. Pleidae = pygmy backswimmers

  10. Notonectidae = backswimmers

  11. Belostomatidae = giant water bugs

  12. Naucoridae = creeping water bugs

  13. Gerridae = water striders

  14. Veliidae = broad-shouldered water striders
