What a great day of work! • Artie: Yeah, we collected a lot of copper. • Addy: And we found a lot of zinc. • Arby: My feet are killing me! • Amy: Yeah, mine too. • Andy: Wait a minute, they’re still moving! • Ansley: Hey, what’s wrong with our feet? • Andrew: The Mighty Meter Gnome is still working! • Abby: But, why? Work time is over. • Ashton: He can’t stop ticking. • Ashley: And his ticking controls our working feet. • Annie: Hey, Mighty Meter Gnome can’t we stop this andante beat?

  3. Dialogue 3….continued. • Mighty Meter Gnome: Something seems to be wrong with my Fine lock. I can’t make it stop! • Dainty: Here, let me fly up and take a look. • Dixie: Maybe we can make it stop. • Daisy: Oh, no! We’ve only made it presto! • Daphne: Quick! Let’s push it back up!

  4. Damselfly Can-Can(Beetles and Damselflies Sing) • Now it’s going faster, this is a disaster. • This is getting tiring and we’re all perspiring. • Someone help us! Help us save our island home! • Someone help us fix The Mighty Meter Gnome! • Mighty Meter Gnome has lost it, we are all exhausted! • It feels like a marathon. • Someone save these desperate dancers. Will a hero answer? How, oh how can we go on? • When we hear that ticking, we cannot stop kicking. • There is no resisting while the sound’s persisting.

  5. Someone help us! Help us save our island home! • Someone help us fix The Mighty Meter Gnome! • Mighty Meter Gnome has lost it. We are all exhausted, it feels like a marathon. • Someone save these desperate dancers. Will a hero answer? How, oh how can we go on?
