What is it? Set of web-based academic advising, degree audit and transfer articulation tools. • Real-time advice and counsel • Interactive “what if” scenario planning • Transparent course and credit transfer • Timely degree certification
Benefits for students • Ability to access effective degree planning services • Ability to access class schedules at multiple SUNY campuses to check for course availability • Ability to gather online records from multiple SUNY campuses to produce a degree audit • Ability to assess degree progress against a program at up to three SUNY campuses for comparison
Benefits for SUNY • Ability to maintain individual campus requirements for general education, the identified mobility programs, and campus course equivalencies, in a common, university-wide degree planning system • Identifies best practices in the definition of degree requirements • Provides opportunities for greater standardization
Timeline for Implementation • First campuses began training in February 2012 • Last campuses will begin training in July 2013 • Anticipated completion date: Thanksgiving 2013 • Campuses “go live” with faculty and students in semesters following the training
