  2. Acts 10:1-6 • There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, • A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.

  3. What we know of Cornelius • Italian • Centurion soldier • He feared God • devout man • prayed to God always • A Memorial had been built • His household was part • Had vjsions and saw angels • Obedient to God

  4. Peter’s Prayer • Acts 10:9-10 • On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: • And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,

  5. Revival Results From Prayer • Cornelius sends for Peter • Peter preaches the Word • The Holy Ghost falls and they speak in other tongues • The whole household is baptized in Jesus name!

  6. What does it mean? • God is looking for sincere people who love God and want everything that He wants for them, and are obedient to Him • God will use those in the Church who pray and are obedient to Him PRAYER + OBEDIENCE =REVIVAL

  7. Do You….. • Want everything that God desires in your life? In your home? • Desire to be obedient to Him • Listen to the preached Word of God • Willing to respond when His Spirit falls by being baptized in water and in Spirit

  8. What This Means…... God had opened the door to the Gentiles for salvation! Truly it was now whosoever will!

  9. How about you? Are you a Cornelius, today?
