Launched in response to rising chronic diseases and obesity rates in Barbados, the Healthy Lifestyle Initiative aims to transform how Barbadians approach their health. Through events like the Healthy Lifestyle Extravaganza and Movement Festival, the initiative promotes active living and healthy choices. Activities include fitness clubs in primary schools, free health fairs, aerobic demonstrations, and community walks.
