  5. When Life’s a Mess, Ask God—“Why?” and “How Long?” Psalm 13:1-2 “How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?” (Psalm 13:1-2).

  9. “How Long?” My foes rejoice when they see me fall. How long? How long? “We have overcome him now,” they call How long will You hide from me? How long? How long until You set me free? How long?

  10. “How Long?” Hear, O LORD, You’re ever good to me. How long? How long? My heart rejoices how You set me free! How long will You hide?

  12. Ask God “Why?” and “How Long?” about God: Psalm 13: 1 “How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?” (Psalm 13:1).
