Abstract • RC&A is an aerial survey company • Specializes in data acquisition for mapping and engineering • Base is in Frederick, Maryland • Flight operations total approximately 1800 hours per year. • Aircraft include: Piper Navajos, Aztecs, and a Jet Ranger Helicopter • Sensors used are sophisticated aerial cameras, lasers, and other remote sensing devices Richard Crouse & Associates

  5. Projected ADIZ Flight Costs • Last year (2005), RC&A flew more than 500 trips from the Frederick area. • Nearly one half (200) of these trips were affected by the ADIZ. Richard Crouse & Associates

  7. Conclusion • The main issue for RC&A is whether the ATC system can accommodate us in the most efficient and productive manner. • Our best solution would be to retire the ADIZ and reduce the size of the FRZ enough to allow VFR corridors. Richard Crouse & Associates
