Tasks of the PSG • Responsibilities defined by the Commission • (a) manage and direct the Project; • (b) confirm that the overall resources used are consistent with, and reasonable for, the work performed; • (c) ensure that agreements for Associated Contracts and Subcontracts conform with the obligations of this contract and maintain copies of the agreements for inspection by the Commission as specified in Articles 4 and 24 of this Annex.

Tasks of the PSG (2) • Responsibilities defined by Consortium Agreement • set up overall strategy, policy, management • approve the Quality System • approve technical objectives and monitor progress • approve amendments to Project Programme and EU contract • allocate resources • resolve disputes

  10. PSG terms of reference • Establishment • within 30 days after CEC contract • one representative per partner • representative should be a line manager

  11. PSG terms of reference (2) • Meetings • one vote per partner • replacement and authorisation of deputy in writing • meets once a year or if requested by one partner • meetings to be called at least seven days ahead incl. agenda • minutes to be done by DNV • minutes accepted if no written comments after 15 days after distribution

  12. Resolution #1 • On January 18th, 1999, the Project Steering Group for Marvin was established with the following members: • The Project Steering Group shall be chaired by the Co-ordinator’s representative, Leif Buene. • The Project Steering Group approves Jan Thomsen as the chair’s deputy.
