Air Operations Research Branch

The Air Operations Research Branch (AOR) is dedicated to conducting effective operational analysis for Australian Defence Force (ADF) air assets across various environments. Key objectives include facilitating capability analyses for force structure, enhancing tactics and doctrine development, and providing unit-level support. The AOR focuses on critical tasks such as the replacement of F/A-18 and F-111 capabilities, development of new maritime patrol capabilities, armed reconnaissance helicopter concepts of operations, and comprehensive engagement and campaign-level analyses to ensure operational effectiveness.
