JUDGING IN CONTEXT • Christians are not to judge others with a critical attitude, but we are to judge (discern) between what is right and wrong in our lives and when appropriate or necessary, in the lives others. • Christians are not to judge other’s attitudes and behaviors without first searching our own hearts and then repenting of that sin. Then, however, Christians may speak and/or act in a way that lovingly points out another person’s wrong attitudes and behaviors when it is appropriate or necessary . • Christians are to judge with not by mere human or religious standards, but according to the truth of God’s Word.
