  2. EL DEPORTIVO PEREIRA El Club Social Deportivo Pereira Futbol Club S.A es un club de fútbol colombiano de la ciudad de Pereira en el departamento de Risaralda. Fue fundado en 1944 y actualmente juega en la Categoría Primera B. Su máximo rival es el Once Caldas con quien juega el clásico cafetero.

HISTORIA El nacimiento del Deportivo Pereira se le atribuye a Pedro Patiño ‘Peruco’, Luis Carlos Marulanda, Rogelio Díaz ‘Control’, Faustino Chiquito y Gabriel Cardona Rojas quienes se unieron para conformar un solo equipo para la ciudad y así evitar los desmanes que se producían cuando “Vidriocol” y “Otún”, se enfrentaban. La fundación del club fue el 12 de febrero de 1944.

LAS BARRAS BRAVAS La expresión barra brava se emplea en América Latina para designar a aquellos grupos, y a los individuos dentro de los mismos, organizados dentro de la hinchada de un club de fútbol, caracterizados habitualmente por ser protagonistas de incidentes violentos, dentro y fuera del estadio de fútbol.
