  1. How to run a B0095 Employees by Employee Group/Sub GroupReport

  2. Purpose of this Job Aid • To help core users identify employees who have Probationary Appointments in BEACON that should have been made Permanent when the Probationary period has ended.

  3. How did this get missed? • Records converted at Go Live did not have an active Monitoring of Tasks Infotype (IT 0019). So if you use the B0099: Employee Deadline Dates Report, these people would not show up. • Appointment Changes were done but somehow the Action did not update the employee’s Appointment type. • There was no process to track Appointment Changes.

  4. The B0095 Report is located in the PA Section of BI.

  5. These fields you will populate when you run your Report.

  6. Highlight the Org Unit so that it turns deep blue and click Add so that it populates in the Right-hand column. Click OK.

  7. For situations in which you need to move a lot of Groups over, you can use the Search Feature. You will change the Show view to “Search”

  8. Next, you will enter in this case “*SPA*” The search feature is case-sensitive and the asterisk means to capture anything before or after it.

  9. Click Search and a list will populate. For example, *SPA*. Click on all of them and click Add. Hit OK to continue. 1 1 2 2 3

  10. Click Search and a list will populate. In this case, use “*Prob*” Click on all of them and click Add. Hit OK to continue. 1 2 3

  11. 2 3 1 Type in the year and the current month. Click OK.

  12. For your report, you will want to drag in Employee (and put it in the first column because you can sort much easier later on!) Employee’s Name Original Hire Date Agency Hire Date

  13. Once the Free Characteristics have been populated, you can then sort for them by clicking on the little black arrow next to Agency Hire Date.

  14. Next you will click on Export to Excel and this will pop up. Click on Open.

  15. You will then rename the File name AND change the type in the Save as type box to Microsoft Office Excel Workbook. Click Save. 1 3 2
