Support for Management of Natural Protected Areas: Interpretative Trails in the Black Sea Region

The InterTrails project aimed to enhance the management of natural protected areas in the Black Sea region. Hosted in Varna, Bulgaria (Sept 13-15, 2013), the project achieved significant results in Romania, including the development of 4 interpretative trails and the creation of 80 interpretative points. Key outcomes included the establishment of a national team, involvement of multiple institutions, creation of informational materials, and production of promotional media. This initiative fosters biodiversity education and cultural awareness for visitors in stunning natural settings.
