  1. Accessing Unit Profiles On the WSD Internet or the WSD Intranet Pages (Use these forward/back buttons to navigate through the screens)

Campus Profiles Basic Info • Campus Profiles may be accessed from the Internet (www.wsdtx.org) or the WSD Intranet (WSD staff only). • Instructions for each of these locations are included in this presentation. • Campus Profiles for all campus/regional/district reports are available for the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 school years via these locations. • All campus/regional/district reports are in Adobe format. You must have Adobe Reader installed to read the profiles. To download a free version of Adobe Reader, go to www.adobe.com.

  3. Accessing Profiles Utilizing the Internet • Open your Internet browser window. In the address bar, type in www.wsdtx.org.

  4. Click on: Campus/Regional/District Profiles.

  5. 1 2 3 This is part of the initial screen for the most previous school year profiles available. • 1. Current Year Available • Quick link to specified region • Quick link to open the entire district profile reports. Includes district summary and all unit profiles. Click on Click Here

  6. 4 5 6 4. Link to total District Profile Summary for the referenced year. 5. Link to archived profiles. Click on Clicking Here 6. Locate Unit search box. May search by unit name or city name. If you search by city, you will be taken to the first occurrence of that city

  7. 9 7 8 7. To print the profile report for the specified region, click on Click Here 8. Click on the blue underscored name of the unit to view just that unit 9. Utilize the up/down scroll bar on the right to move up/down the page

  8. Example: Click on Beto Unit to view the report: Click “X” to Close From here, you may either view or print the document as needed. Close the window upon completion to return to the page you came from.

  9. Viewing Previous (Archive) Years: Click on “For older Campus/Regional/District Profiles accessThe ArchivebyClicking Here”

  10. Results of selecting Archive Years Clicking on the first six links will take you to the various reports. Clicking on Individual Units will take you to a screen similar to the initial 2006-2007 Campus/Regional/District Profiles screen.

  11. Accessing Profiles Utilizing the WSD Intranet • From the WSD Intranet Home page, click on Operational Support Menu:

  12. Click on Campus/Regional/District Profiles

  13. Notice the screen change to a tabulated form:

  14. There are five tabs: • North Texas • Gulf Coast • West Texas • South Texas • 2005-2006 Profiles • See next slide for noted references and explanations. • In order to return to a previous screen while on this Intranet page, click the back button.

  15. A B C D E A Click View the Entire District Profile to open the report with all of the units on one report for the most current school year available. B Click on View the District Profile Summary to view just the District Profile. C This is the tabulated area to allow view change to different regions or to the 2005-2006 Profiles page. D Clicking on North Texas Region Profilewill open the report with the District Summary and all of the units in the North Texas region. E Clicking on the unit name will open the report for the specified unit.

  16. Clicking on the 2005-2006 Profiles tab results in a screen similar to this: Clicking on the first six links will take you to the various reports. See the next slide for results of clicking on Archived Individual Units for 2005-2006.

  17. Notice that the title bar is now red (indicating you are on the archive pages). You have the four regional tabs, but now the fifth tab will take you back to the 2006-2007 Profiles page.
