  15. Use of PowerPoint • This PowerPoint will be used to introduce the social studies topic of government to fourth grade students. • The students have no little prior knowledge about government. The slides address all government GLE’s for fourth grade. • After the use of the PowerPoint students will begin a WebQuest where they will apply their knowledge of government and its basic levels. Once they have completed their WebQuest, the students will then create a non-linear PowerPoint to present their knowledge of government and how it applies to our daily lives.

Government Lesson • This government lesson will give needed research and facts about to topic to address the GLE’s for fourth grade social studies. • The main task involved in this lesson is for the students to become thinkers and research facts about our government and apply their knowledge while answers the questions presented within the PowerPoint. • The level of thinking students are required to use in this lesson on Bloom’s Taxonomy would be application. The students must solve problems to new situations by applying acquired knowledge and facts through research.
