Psalm 78:2-4 • God’s Instructions 2 I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old, 3 Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us. 4 We will not conceal them from their children, But tell to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, And His strength and His wondrous works that He has done. (Ps. 78:2-4 NAU)

  5. For us today • Let us construct the interpretation which will tell us what lessons Jesus has for us.

  7. Normally a household bakes 10 to 20 loaves Measure of Flour 3 angels visit Abraham There will be an abundance in the Kingdom of Heaven How much flour is a peck (measure)? Sarah made 50 loaves (50 pounds of flour) 50 pounds of flour (enough for 50 loaves) Give back to God in abundance Matthew 31:33-35

Hidden God’s sovereignty is not always felt or seen People in the Kingdom who look “righteous” but are evil Kingdom of Heaven on Earth Echo But it is here Genesis 6:1-6 & Book of the Watchers Righteous people “Tikkun” (final correction) Evil will be separated eventually “Bad” angels in Heaven Matthew 31:33-35

Yeast Positive Dough left overnight to rise You need yeast for bread to rise Negative 50 lbs. would take more time to rise Full establishment of the Kingdom is a slow process You need God in order to establish the Kingdom of Heaven There will be evil people who pass themselves off as righteous Patience Matthew 31:33-35
