What is RoadBlade? • The RoadBlade is a retractable blade tire shredding system providing an effective method of perimeter security against threat vehicles. • The retractable blades slice each tire instantly deflating the tires and putting the vehicle on its rims immediately, typically within 9m. • When the blades are down, vehicles are free to pass over the system without harm. • A complete cycle of moving the blades from up to down position or vice versa is less than 1 second.   3. RETRACTABLE BLADE 2 to 3 three inch gashes cause immediate deflation, placing the vehicle on it’s rims. In it’s inactive state, blades down, vehicles can safely pass over the tire shredder system in either direction. MODULAR SYSTEM The standard length for any tire shredder system is 12 feet. They can be extended up to 25 feet. Two systems have the capacity of 50 feet of uninterrupted security. HEAVY DUTY The individual tire shredder modules are designed to withstand over 50 tons of force, enabling the system to handle heavy vehicles and high traffic volumes. ADAPTABLE The tire shredder system can be integrated with devices such as, computer control, card scanners, weight sensors, arm barriers or most types of devices that have access to dry contact connections. How RoadBlade works? • When the blades are in the active (up) position, vehicles coming in either direction are at risk for having their tires deflated. • This allows you to completely shut down any traffic control zone where the tire shredding system is deployed. • While the blades are inactive (down) vehicles can safely pass over the RoadBlade without any damage to the tire. • Should a vehicle pass over the RoadBlade tire shredder while the system is active, its tires will deflate from the 3-4 gashes caused by the blades slicing them. • A vehicle is on its rims immediately.

RoadBlade Systems • There are 4 different RoadBlade systems, each having it’s own benefits which make them unique to one another. • RB4100 - Manual RoadBlade • RB4200 - DC Portable RoadBlade • RB4300 - Maximum Security RoadBlade • RB4400 - Permanent RoadBlade • Each system is designed to maintain a safe and secure perimeter.
