  2. Strength Through Innovation Since 1764 It started with a blacksmith’s workshop in 1764. The original product was nails, specifically designed for the building of ships. Gunnebo Bruk’s new joint-stock company was introduced on the Stockholm stock exchange in 1903. • Around 1850 factory-made screws, the first of its kind in the country, became an important part of the production. New management team and strategy in 2009. In July 2008 private equity firm Segulah acquired Gunnebo Industries.

  23. Offshore Container Lifting

Offshore containers • The lifting set (chain or wire rope slings and shackles) shall be especially designed for use on offshore containers, and shall normally not be removed from the container except for replacement. • The slings shall be attached to the pad eyes on container by shackles. Shackle bolts shall be secured to prevent unwanted opening of the shackle. Crane’sforerunner

DnV 2.7-1 Type Approved • Master link and shackles shall be DnV 2.7-1 Type approved. • Wire rope slings shall be according to EN 13414-1 or other recognised standard. • Wire rope grade 1770 or 1960 shall be used. The working load limit may be determined based on the specified rope grade. • Wire rope shall be 6-stranded and of type 6x19 or 6x36 and may be fibre cored or steel cored. • The terminations of wire rope legs shall be ferrule secured eyes with thimbles, and comply with EN 13411 - 3 or other recognised standard.
