  4. Death, Burial and ResurrectionAccording to the Scriptures Acts 17:2-3 Then Paul, as his custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures, 3 explaining and demonstrating that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus whom I preach to you is the Christ.”

  5. Death, Burial and ResurrectionAccording to the Scriptures • John 2:19-21 Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” 20 Then the Jews said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?” 21 But He was speaking of the temple of His body. • Matthew 12:39-40 • Isaiah 53

  6. Death, Burial and ResurrectionAccording to the Scriptures Psalm 16:9-11 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices;         My flesh also will rest in hope. 10 For You will not leave my soul in Sheol,         Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. 11 You will show me the path of life;         In Your presence is fullness of joy;          At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 110:1 The LORD said to my Lord,         “Sit at My right hand,          Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”

  14. 1 Corinthians 15:33-34Don’t Be Deceived • 1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. • Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. • 2 Timothy 2:16-18
