  1. Culture of Italy Italian culture is as varied and diverse as the Italian people. The culture of Italy can be found in the Roman ruins remaining in much of the country, the precepts of the Roman CatholicChurch, the spirit of the Renaissance and the Enlightenment, the architecture, and on the terraces of the many football clubs. It can also be tasted in Italy's magnificent food.

  2. food • Italian cuisine is extremely varied: the country of Italy only unified in 1861, and its cuisines reflect the cultural variety of its regions and its diverse history (with culinary influences from Greek, Roman, Norman and Arab civilizations). Italian cuisine is regarded as a prime example of the Mediterranean diet, and is imitated all over the world.

The national team won the World Cup in 1982 and the main clubs like Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan are among the best in the world.Basketball is also popular.Ferrari is one of the world's biggest names in motor racing and two Formula One Grand Prix are staged in Italy: the Italian Grand Prix at Monza and the San Marino Grand Prix.
