The Midnordic Committee unites members and partners across North and South Trøndelag (Norway), Jämtland and Västernorrland (Sweden), and Ostrobothnia, South Ostrobothnia, and Central Finland, representing approximately 1.5 million inhabitants. Led by Chairman Peter Boström, the committee's mission focuses on sustainable development through the enhancement of innovative environments, improved east-west communications, and promotion of culture and creative industries.
