Great Apps to use Teaching and Learning with iPads The 21st Century World is a global world The 21st Century World is a technology world The 21st century World is an online world We were a generation of “Digital Immigrants” We are teaching a generation of “Digital Natives” We may also teach a generation of “Digital Experts” As technology expands, so should we; in order to reach our students, and meet their diverse learning needs The era of Desktops and Laptops are gradually phasing out The era of notebooks and tablets are gradually phasing in The Apple iPad is here to stay for a while

The Apple iPad • Developed by Apple under the management of the late CEO Steve Jobs • Is a tablet first released in 2010 • Runs on Apple’s iOS operating system • Has about five models so far including the iPad mini • Has several features including the iBooks(an eBook reader), and a wireless capability • Has several applications (apps) that are very valuable to administrators, instructors, and students For this video session, we shall focus on iPad 2, the 2nd model of the iPad.
