DESCRIPTION

Adoption benefits provided by employers have transformed the lives of many employees, allowing them to build their families while cultivating loyalty to their organizations. Blake Stepp adopted his wife’s son Hayden in 2011, receiving $1,500 in reimbursements from WellStar Health System. Similarly, Gentry and Rosemary Jones leveraged a $10,000 reimbursement benefit from Robins & Morton to adopt Cruz and Noah. Sarah Cantor and the Dill family also benefitted from supportive workplaces during their adoption journeys, showcasing the profound impact of adopting supportive policies in the workplace.

  1. Families First Adoption benefits helped these employees build their families—and generated a strong sense of loyalty to their employers.

  2. Blake Stepp adopted Hayden, his wife’s son from a previous relationship, in April 2011. His employer, WellStar Health System, reimbursed him for $1,500 of the $2,300 in adoption costs.
