  4. Goals • The parking lot needs to be designed with better drainage. • Parking spaces need to be arranged to obtain the maximum number possible. • Multiple construction phases should be considered.

  5. Research • Survey of Site • Coring of Asphalt • Inspection of Current Drainage • Drainage Calculations

  7. Curb and Gutter • Provides Excellent Drainage • Protects Landscaping from Automobiles • Aesthetically Pleasing • Significant Earthwork Required to Reverse Existing Slope • Double Amount of Piping • Difficult for Multiple Phases
