Join a variety of engaging educational programs at AlKitab Academy and MIC, designed for children, teenagers, and young adults. Our offerings include Quran recitation and memorization classes, weekend Arabic and Islamic studies, youth programs with outdoor activities, and early childhood Islamic education. With dedicated sessions for both boys and girls, we strive to provide a strong foundation in Islamic teachings while promoting a fun and interactive learning environment. Our programs are supervised by qualified scholars, ensuring a quality education for all participants.

  2. Education Program Descriptions • AlKitab Academy: focuses on proper reading, recitation and memorization of the Quran from an early age using the QaeedaNooraniyah. The program is held late afternoons on weekdays from 4-7. There are two tracks: two days a week and four days a week. Skills needed: Good foundation in Quran education and tajweed rules • MIC weekend School is held on Saturdays for four hours. This program covers Arabic, Quran learning and Islamic studies. • Youth Education Program is geared toward teenagers and young adults. The program is help on Saturday or Sundays. The focus is on Arabic, Quran learning, outdoor activities and Islamic studies. There are two groups: one for boys and the other for girls. • MIC Mother’s Day Out: two days per week program for children 2 to 5 years old. The program focuses on basic Islamic teachings, English and Arabic alphabets as well plenty of play time in an Islamic environment. The program is held two days a week for 6 hours daily.

  3. New Program for 2011 -2012 • Karate for ages 5 and up. Meets twice a week. Tentative days are Wednesday 6-7 and Saturdays 5-6 • Intensive Programs & workshops: to be held during school breaks. Focus on different topics, field trips, etc. Details to be announced later. • Boys Scout & Venturing Crew: To be affiliated with Boys Scouts of America. More details later insha Allah. • After School Tutoring: Focus on math, science and scholastic test preparations. Details to be announced later.
