With half day hikes in the Front Range to mulit day backpacking treks in Rocky Mountain National Park, you are sure to find the right trip. Some of the favorite day trips are Bear Peak in Boulder, just half an hour from Denver. Other great hikes include the Chautauqua Classic and Mount Sanitas. If you are looking to summit one of the highest peaks in the US then chat with one of our guides about Longs Peak. This is one of the most rewarding journeys in Colorado. Apex Ex also offers hiking throughout Rocky Mountain National Park and supports multi day back country trips as well. Give us a call at (303) 731-6160.

  3. Snowshoeing overview After choosing a date, you’ll meet your guide at the trail head where you will be outfitted with snow shoes, trekking poles and an introduction to the activity. Hike as a group through the winter wonderland of Rocky Mountain National Park to a serene location for hot Cheese Fondue and Cider. The solitude and beauty of the Rockies in winter have to be experienced first hand to fully appreciate what we have in our backyard. Come enjoy a morning or afternoon hike with Apex Ex and find out what you like about the winter landscape.
