Timber Sizing • Timber comes in a range of sizes • So that people understand what is going on there is a standard for stating timber sizes Timber sizes is given by WIDTH x LENGTH THICKNESS x Width: measured across the grain on the face measured across the grain on the edge Thickness: Length: measured along the grain
