  2. V roce 1923 se v moravské metropoli natrvalo usadil Bohuslav Fuchs, jenž zakrátko zaujal vůdčí postavení mezi brněnskými architekty. Jeho realizace byly hojně publikovány a oceňovány v zahraničí. K početné obci moderních architektů v Brně dále patřili Otto Eisler, Josef Kranz, Jiří Kroha, Jan Víšek, Arnošt Wiesner a další.
