  2. 1. Background:Asthma prevention programs globally "GINA" has confirmed the effectiveness, of the treatment to control asthma, the role of medical personnel guide the patient's treatment. 2. Objective: health care workers have the knowledge to practice the correct attitude to guide the patient.Topic: "Study after intervention training effect on knowledge, attitude of health workers practice in controlling asthma Hai Phong in 2014".- Subjects: health care workers; - The study was conducted at 2 An Duong, An Lao district of Hai Phong city. - Selection criteria health workers: health workers involved in the examination and treatment of respiratory disease in the area.

Method: - Methodology controlled intervention studies; An Duong 65 medical staff and An Lao District: 55 medical staff to intervene. • Quantitative research: - All medical personnel attended advanced training courses: knowledge test, diagnosis, prevention and control of asthma. Provide materials to use asthma health education. assess the knowledge, attitude and practice of health workers intervened in 12 months, compared with the control group. - In-depth interviews were conducted three focus group discussions with medical personnel 8 to assess needs and carried out before and after 1 year of intervention.

Result: • Knowledge, attitudes and practices of health workers about asthma control significantly improved; 66.1% after intervention EI good reach; Proficient EI 113.8%, 85.5% IE; improve EI case has not reached 98%, 89% IE difference was statistically significant at the Good team, no gain with p <0.001, Medium level with p <0.05.
