Involving behavior staff is crucial for supporting students exhibiting challenging behaviors. Early intervention is recommended when patterns emerge, and previous strategies have failed. Key professionals include Positive Behavior Specialists, Behavior Coaches, SPED Social Workers, and Behavior Technicians. They provide essential support through consultation, training, and monitoring. National and regional resources such as therapy, case management, and nursing services are available. For assistance, contact the Hernando office at 662-449-1808. Training for staff covers autism, behavior interventions, and effective strategies for classroom management.
